The A’kin skin care range caters to all skin types and is hypo-allergenic, paying particular attention to sensitive skins such as babies, the elderly and the allergic.

Shampoo:

A'kin's ® shampoo range works differently from other shampoos. The sophisticated combinations of cleansers leave your hair feeling beautiful and extra clean, whilst retaining the essential natural oils and moisture. Many shampoos use harsh sulfate and ethoxylated cleansing agents which excessively strip the hair of its own moisture and then re-surface the hair shaft with synthetic chemical coating agents in an effort to replace lost shine and body. All [Al'chemy] shampoos are hypo-allergenic, matching the skins natural pH, and are economical to use.

Conditioner:

A'kin ® conditioners improve the condition of the scalp. Exceptional quality, expensive nourishing ingredients, used in generous amounts, include cold pressed oils such as certified organic Australian avocado & macadamia nut oils, jojoba oil and hydrolyzed wheat protein, which is Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) Free...all add a silky feel to the hair and continued use leads to a healthier scalp.

Al'chemy Lavender Shampoo 225ml

For dry and damaged hair

This special SULFATE FREE shampoo for dry hair combines gentle plant based cleansers with palm moisturisers and lavender flower extract to restore flexibility and softness to de-vitalised hair. Pure oil of lavender gives delightful warmth to this luxurious formula. Our most popular shampoo, beautifully fragrant, leaves hair softer, silkier, healthier, shinier and more manageable.

Most shampoos function from the action of one or two chemical cleansers and foam booster. These simple mixtures are too harsh, and consequently chemical coating agents (usually silica based) are added to counteract the stripping effect and to give the hair shine.

Al'chemy takes a totally different approach. We use a synergistic complex of up to six special gentle cleansers, all derived from natural ingredients such as corn, sugar cane, palm and coconut oils. Synthetic coating agents are not required and the hair and scalp are left naturally clean and in perfect condition to adsorb the deeply penetrating nourishing ingredients from our state of the art "skin friendly" conditioners.
