What are the advantages of using Tushies?

What is the difference between Tushies and other disposables?

1. The absorbent layer in most disposable nappies is generally made from processed wood pulp. In order to increase it's absorbency, the manufacturers add artificial chemical absorbents such as acrylic polymer salts to the wood pulp. These granules, which are inside the absorbent padding of the nappy, turn into gel when they come into contact with moisture. This chemical gel, which has been linked to toxic shock syndrome in tampons, can end up on your baby.
