                   ORDERING

The Organic House' website is protected by a secure server system. This system uses industrial strength encryption (SSL 3.0).  When you place your order with us your details are securely transferred to the server.  You are assured of optimum security whilst shopping at The Organic House.

ORDERING

When you find the items your require, simply enter the quantity you require, press the ORDER button above the MORE INFO button and it will automatically be added to your shopping cart.  When you have finished ordering, press 'Proceed to Checkout' and your total order plus postage will be calculated.  You will then need to enter your delivery details and credit card information (Australian Mastercard or Visa).  Please make sure your email address and telephone number is entered correctly for us to contact you with any queries we may have regarding your order. 

It is important to us to know how you found us so please advise us on your order form where indicated.  All orders received by us will automatically start receiving our monthly e-newsletter with news, reviews, new products, specials, competitions and important information.  We do not disclose any of your details to any other third party for any other use.  If you do not want to remain in our client database to receive newsletters, please email us to unsubscribe.

You can request a printed product list be posted to you (within Australia only).  Simply contact us by email, mail, telephone or fax to request a product list.  Email orders with payment details will not be accepted as it is not a secure transaction.  Mail orders will be accepted with Mastercard or Visa details, Money Order or Cheque.  Personal cheques will need to be cleared before products will be sent.

If Cardholders Details are different to Customer Details, the Cardholder will need to verify that they authorise the transaction.  We are legally obliged to protect cardholders from unauthorised use and any order may be queried by The Organic House.

Title of goods remains the property of The Organic House until payment has been cleared.  Please note: Items posted within Australia are usually sent by Express Post with automatic insurance.  Extra Insurance should be requested.  Damage and loss during cartage over the $100 value is the purchaser's responsibility if uninsured.  You are welcome to request insurance or registered postage (at Australia Post cost prices) to ensure your parcel arrives without delay or loss.  Product prices are subject to change without notice.

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS INCLUDE GST

DELIVERY

The Organic House dispatch orders by Australian Registered Post, usually within 3-5 business days.  We appreciate that our client's are eager to receive their goods quickly and we will do our utmost to provide orders well before this time.  We understand that our product range is very unique and appreciate our client's enthusiasm to receive their Certified Organic products as soon as possible.  Our priority is to provide every item requested within an order wherever possible as we cannot send more than one parcel per P&H fee charged.  High demand for some items that have been requested may necessitate a renewal of our supply before we can finalise an order thereby causing a delay, usually 4 extra days to these time frames.  Delays beyond these time frames will be advised by us via email.

International orders will be delivered subject to 'Ordinary Air' International Post delivery timeframes. 

In the best interest of all of our clients, all parcels sent within Australia are sent Express Post/Courier.  Express Post/Courier within Australia offers:

- an identification number for each article

- signature obtained on delivery (courier)

- insurance cover up to $100

Postage & handling costs within Australia are outlined in the 'View Cart' page.  If orders weigh over 3 kilo's then additional postage and handling willy apply in certain situations.

The weights specified on each product is the weight of the actual ingredients in the product and does not include the weight of the package it comes in.  This, and the weight of packaging materials required to get your parcel to you safely, will affect the total parcel weight used in postage and handling calculations.

Please remember, postage and handling fees generally not only cover actual postage costs but may include sourcing re-usable packing boxes, stuffing, shredded paper and wrapping materials (rather than buying new, non-recycled packaging), packing tape, packing time, invoice envelopes, stationery and delivery of parcels to the post office. 

International orders are subject to freight costs based on weight.  International orders are packaged up to 20kg in weight.  Orders over this amount will be subject to freight per 20kg lot.  Freight for orders over 20kg will not be calculated online but once we receive the order.  We will email you to confirm costs.

SECURITY - IMPORTANT

All secure online orders require the credit card's CCV (Card Check Value) number to be entered.  The CCV three-digit number is printed in the signature panel on the back of the MasterCard and Visa cards immediately following the 16-digit cardholder number.  Orders received without this number cannot be processed.  If your card does not have a CCV number, you will be required to fax copies of the card to us for our sighting and records.   Orders without sufficient identification will not be processed.  Orders may be subject to our request for copies of credit cards faxed to us at our discretion.  This protects both our clients and The Organic House. 

Please check that all details within your order form have been entered correctly, particularly email address, as this is our preferred method of contact.  If there are queries regarding any part of your order we will contact you by email.

PRIVACY CLAUSE

All client details remain private and are not re-used for any other purpose or passed onto third party companies for marketing purposes.

NEW CLIENTS

We like to hear how NEW clients found out about us so please include where you found out about us in the 'Instructions' panel on the order form.

PACKAGING

Our environmentally-friendly policy is to send product orders packed using recycled or pre-used cardboard packing boxes or shipping boxes.  The parcels may contain biodegradable packing fillers or shredded, recycled paper to protect products during transit.  This is our contribution to RE-USE, REDUCE and RECYCLE.  Please ensure your empty product bottles and packaging are recycled when finished.

RETURNS

For quality control reasons we are unable to accept returns, however if a product is faulty we are more than happy to contact the manufacturer on your behalf.

Conditions of return, if applicable:

- The Organic Housemust authorise any goods prior to their return for exchange.

-  A copy of the invoice and an explanation for return must accompany all goods being returned.

-  Returns must arrive at The Organic House within 14 days from the time of request in order for return credit to be honoured.

-  Please retain broken parcel/s (and packaging) until authorised by The Organic House as they may be required by Australia Post as proof of damage.

-  The customer will pay return freight in circumstances of incorrect ordering or cancellations after despatch.

-  The Organic House will pay return freight on items sent by us in error unless the customer requests to purchase the item/s.

-  Return stock will not be credited where poor packaging by the customer results in goods being broken in return transit.

-  Only unused, faulty items may be credited or exchanged.  Faulty products are returned to manufacturer for replacement product.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to health regulations, most products including cosmetics are non-refundable unless the packaging or contents are faulty, so please choose very carefully.  Refunds are not accepted on any other product within our range if the purchaser no longer requires the product or changes their mind.  Not liking a product is not sufficient grounds for returning products to any retailer for credit or refund.  If the products you are returning are not faulty and cannot be returned by us with sufficient evidence to the manufacturer for exchange, they will not be deemed to be refundable.  Products returned for refund without prior consent from us will be automatically returned back to sender.

EXPIRY DATES

'Best Before' dates are listed on Certified Organic products as a guide only.  Certified Organic products do not contain preservatives and a Best Before date is given simply so that people can use them during their most potent and beneficial period.  In most cases, they will still be perfectly fine beyond their best before date.  Certified Organic products are very unique, and we always ensure products are received with more than enough time before the "best before" date is reached, provided they are used as recommended. All products need to be started upon receipt and used up.  They should not be stored in a cupboard as chemically preserved products often are.

WHOLESALE

Wholesale information is currently unavailable.

The remainder of our selected range of products are for private use only.  Products are NOT to be used contrary to The Organic House policies or for any retail/commercial investigation, intentions, re-selling or other purposes.  Supplier information will not be disclosed.  Orders may not be processed should they be deemed to conflict with this policy.  Further action will be initiated should these policies be ignored or compromised.

MINORS

Parental approval is required for orders placed by persons under the age of 18.

TERMS OF AGREEMENT

By placing your order with The Organic House you agree to provide us with accurate and complete information. You agree to maintain and update your information as required to keep it accurate. As a client of The Organic House you agree not to impersonate any other person or entity when ordering. You are responsible and liable for any activity by any person who uses your information with The Organic House. Other users of your details will be bound by this Agreement as if they were you. You acknowledge that products obtained from The Organic House are provided only for personal use by you and members of your household, and not for commercial use or for use by organizations or other groups of users. You acknowledge that all materials available through The Organic House may be protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. You agree that your use of such materials is governed by all applicable laws and regulations and by any further restrictions placed on such materials by The Organic House.
